Michael became an Authorised Distributor in 2001 and was instrumental in acquiring the Blazes Fireplace & Heating Centres account. As well as working closely with Blazes to specify the requirements for their bespoke “Contracts Module”, Michael installed systems and trained owners and staff in showrooms across the United Kingdom.Having held senior financial roles in many companies and appointments at board level, supplemented by spells providing interim support to ailing companies through difficult times, Michael was quick to appreciate the many features in Diamond in particular the ease of use of the entry level editions and the powerful functionality of the Commercial Edition.
In his leisure time he has discovered a latent interest in "treading the boards" appearing in a number of productions with the Henley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society including a lead role in Stepping Out the Musical. With the blessing of a growing family including two teenage children Michael also spends the obligatory excessive amounts of time fulfilling the role of unpaid taxi driver.
