Employee Profile: Harold Phillips

Previously employed in a South Wales Manufacturing Group of companies for almost 20 years until 1986 where he was Group Managing Director for seven years. The group of 5 companies employed over 400 people with a turnover of £50m.
From 1986 until he retired in 2000, Harold ran his own businesses where he successfully used Diamond Discovery software.
Harold was enticed out of retirement to join Diamond Discovery Software Limited in 2000 and in 2006 was invited to continue as Operations Director and Company Secretary.
Harold and his wife Susanne have one son Jeremy who was recently appointed Head teacher at Llanharry Primary School.
Outside work Harold can often be found on the golf course caddying for his two grand children, Lucy aged 12 and Hywel aged 9.
Harold’s other interest is the Kenfig Hill Male Choir of which he has been a member for 16 years and chairman for 8 years.
