Diamond Online and ICPA
August 2008
In the March edition of Brilliant News we were proud to announce our accreditation by the ICPA as their chosen accounting software partner. In the four months since, almost 100 ICPA members have registered their Diamond software and we have had the opportunity to meet many members at various ICPA regional meetings and visits to individual members.
During conversations with ICPA members, many and varying benefits of an online accounting system were identified.
- As a dedicated system for the accounting practice. This gives a network access from the practice office or from the client’s office but not for access by the client
- As a dedicated system for the accounting practice. This gives a network access from the practice office or from the client’s office but allowing the client to view and therefore see information about his business: debtors, creditors and Profit & Loss reports for example, but not entering data
- As an online service for clients who, for a small monthly fee, can have all the benefits of a professional accounting system accessible from any internet connection without the need for locally-installed software, giving both accountant and client instant and real-time access to the client's data and allowing the accountant to offer added-value and timely support and advice from the office, remotely or on-site
We are pleased to announce the successful launch of Diamond Online in July and that the first ICPA members have already signed up for the service.
