Diamond Discovery Software Enhancements

Here we highlight a selection of features we have recently added to the software that you may not be aware of.
Quantity Breaks
Did you know that there is a feature in Diamond Discovery Stock Control that allows you to enter a Quantity Break? This means, for example, that you could set a unit price for a product that normally sells as a pack of 6 and a higher unit price if the quantity sold is less than a full pack.
In the example below a pack of 6 units costs £3.06 or £0.51 each, but if the quantity sold is less than 6, the unit price becomes £0.60. The system will automatically select the correct price based on the quantity invoiced.
Stock Enhancements
A new stock parameter in Diamond Discovery Commercial Edition is "Use enhanced categories?" This feature allows you to assign a description and discount level to each category. In this way, a global discount by stock category can be automatically calculated for Customer Invoices.
In the example below, the “Plugs & Switches” Category P automatically attracts a 5% discount:
